MTV Brings ‘Liquid Television’ Shows Online

1 min read

Considered to be one of the early victories of getting anime on a big name network back in the early 1990’s, Liquid Television was one of the more interesting projects that the network produced over the three years that it ran. The program brought out a lot of strange, unusual and amusing segments as it worked across various styles of animation and stories. The anime incarnation of it used the segment Running Man from the 1986 feature Neo-Tokyo that was released by Streamline Pictures at the time. In addition to that, the series also introduced people to Aeon Flux, Beavis and Butt-head and the vastly underrated The Maxx from Sam Keith as well as many others that haven’t been quite as memorable over the years. Check out the Running Man segment below or head over to the full Liquid Television site for all that they have available.
