ComiXology Offers Batman Weekend Sale

With a lot of people coming on board to the way of digital comics this past week (the main Comixology app was the #2 money making app this week with in-app purchase, surpassing both the huge Smurf’s Village and Angry Birds), ComiXology and DC Comics are looking to show folks an easy way to add lots of new books to their collection on the cheap. And these are definitely an accessible thing to do when it comes to the Batman character. The weekend sale, which starts on the 10th at midnight EST it looks like, they’re offering 101 issues of various Batman releases for .99 each. There’s some good stuff to be had in there, especially Batman: The Long Halloween and going back to the Batman: Year One material but also some more recent things. So if you want to check out a range of classic Batman books, this is the weekend to do it.
