1 min read

Casting for Game of Thrones continues on as more characters are brought into play with the second season that’s in production now for HBO. The first to be added is that of Roy Dotrice, who had provided some voice work for the audiobook versions of the novels. He’s coming on board to play the character of Pyromancer Hallyne, the Chief of the Guild of Alchemists. The guild is an ancient society of men who have claimed magical abilities over the years who have seen their power diminished by the Maesters of the Citadel. In addition to Dotrice, the series has added Hannah Murray to take on the role of Gilly, who is described as one of the women living with Old Craster who wants to escape his oppression. She was previously seen in the UK version of Skins.
