‘Heroes Fantasia’ Anime Crossover Game Announced For Japan

1 min read

We’ve seen games that bring together various characters before with Nintendo’s Super Smash Bros. and we’ve seen it in the giant mecha world as well with Super Robot Wars and its various iterations. What we’ve not really seen is a big old mashup of many different anime series into a video game form, but that has now changed. Namco Bandai has set things right with the world by announcing a Winter release in Japan of Heroes Fantasia in which we get an RPG that brings together characters from s.CRY.ed, Darker than Black Ryusei no Gemini, Darker than Black Kuro no Keiyakusha, Sorcerous Stabber Orphen, Sergeant Frog, R.O.D. Read or Die, Slayers Revolution, Rune Soldier, Mai Hime and Blood+. The game is set to work with turn based party action and more details are expected as time goes on and the real marketing ramps up. A slew of images from the game have shown up on Famitsu that you can browse through here and get all eager for.
