‘Rango’ Rules Over Competition

2 min read

For the second week in a row, Rango proves he’s the little lizard that can as he holds the top spot against newcomers like Limitless and Take Me Home Tonight while fending off against other new releases such as Lincoln Lawyer, Insidious and Arthur when it comes to the buying community. Unsurprisingly, he’s a little lower on the list when it comes to the rental market, since parents will scoop up Rango for purchase at home, and the rental market is always a little bit skewed because of the way things are delayed now when it comes to Netflix, which makes it less accurate in a way. Unsurprisingly, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hollows Part 1 continues to have the strongest sales with fifteen weeks in release and still capturing the number three spot as people pick it up cheap and check it out before the finale in theaters.
