First Trailer For ‘Hugo’ Arrives

1 min read

Some filmmakers produce works that demand that you see them based simply on their name, and Martin Scorsese is definitely one of them. His next feature, due out on November 23rd, is likely to be something of a challenge for some of his fans though as it doesn’t go down some of his more usual paths. Hugo follows an orphan as he tries to solve the mystery of his recently lost father and the adventures that unravel. It echoes other works in a way, with some mild science fiction mixed in due to the device that was left that also is being described as something magical, but it’s the feel of the film itself where it’s a bit more ethereal and whimsical in a way, especially with its focus on the young kids going on an adventure. The cast is strong for it as well as it’s lead by Asa Butterfield, Chloe Grace Moretz and Sacha Baron Cohen with support from  Ben Kingsley, Jude Law, Ray Winstone, Christopher Lee, Helen McCrory, Richard Griffiths, Frances de la Tour, Emily Mortimer, Michael Stuhlbarg
