After an OVA series that was released in 2008 with animation production by Nomad, this series is back as a TV series this summer from JC Staff based off of the original work by Sammy with Kaito Tenshi Twin Angel: Tokimeki Paradise!! The original OVA was a pretty simple magical girl affair that dealt with things in two episodes, so this one is expected to flesh it out a bit more with its season length run. The series is being directed by Yoshiaki Iwasaki, who has plenty of credits that fit this particular genre well, as he’s worked on Sky Girls, Best Student Council, Love Hina and El-Hazard: The Wanderers along with a lot of Hayate the Combat Butler. He’s working off of a script and composition by Michiko Itou, who is also doing this seasons Ro-Kyu-Bu! and is known for Doki Doki School Hours, Okamisan and Queen’s Blade 2.
Plot concept: Haruka Minazuki and Aoi Kannazuki are freshman high school students and best friends. During the day they help with school activities but at night they thwart enemies like Black Auction and other villains as Red Angel and Blue Angel, the Twin Angel team.
