After talking just a little while ago about the lack of movement on new Naruto: Shippuden movies with the fifth one due out in just over a month in Japan, Viz Media tweeted this morning that the second movie, ‘Bonds’, will premiere this October in the US. Details are sketchy as they’re only mentioning it in relation to the new Heroes of Anime sweepstakes they’re running but the gist of it is that they’re planning a brief theatrical event of some sort presumably in California.
The feature was originally release din Japan back in 2008 with a budget of $33 million US.
