Japanese Leads For ‘Bunny Drop’ Revealed

2 min read

We recently talked about the summer 2011 anime series Bunny Drop that’s coming out with Production I.G. behind the animation and now animeanime.biz has gotten the goods on who the lead actors will be for the series. With the series drawing a lot of attention and the leads being rather critical here to be able to handle the roles, it’s been revealed that Hiroshi Tsuchida and Ayu Matsuura will be the ones coming on board the project.

Tsuchida voices the main role of Daikichi Kawachi, a 30-year-old bachelor who decides to raise a 6-year-old girl, Rin Kaga.

Tsuchida has some interesting credits to his name including handling the lead role of the Japanese dubbed edition of Cars for Disney as well as various roles in popular shows like One Piece, Naruto and the lead role in Skullman. He was most recently seen playing Packy in Cat Shit One.

Ayu Matsurra brings a different approach than we usually see with young characters being voiced in anime as the actress is only ten years old but has already done a leading film role for Kuma no Gakko.

The series is the latest addition to the noitaminA block this summer.
