New On Set Pictures From ‘The Amazing Spider-Man’

2 min read

A number of new on-set photos have arrived over the weekend while the July 3, 2012 release of The Amazing Spider-Man has been filming in New York City. We’ve seen a number of late night action shots lately and we’re continuing to see some other pieces as well of Andrew Garfield as Peter Park. This set below comes from a variety of places, but the first picture is the big one in my mind as it features Dr. Curt Connors talking with Peter, completely with the green sock on his hand so it can be turned into the stub that it is in the comics as the character is the quasi-villain The Lizard.  That pic came courtesy of a college student who snapped it and posted it to his Twitter account at J Anthony Hall.

The rest of the photos have a couple of sources that are worth checking out for more pics, as I grabbed some of the ones that I thought were worth taking a look at. Head over to The Daily Mail and The Daily Blam for more. The second picture here gives us a good look at Martin Sheen in his Ben Parker role, which pretty much conveys what we’ve seen of the character in various incarnations over the years as certain outfits just don’t seem to change that much. Following that we get a quick shot of Emma Stone as Gwen Stacey in the rain and then another shot of Andrew Garfield in Peter Parker mode, which you can easily call a Twilight-esque look, but it’s one that you do see often enough at schools these days, for better or for worse.
