After the exit of Zach Galifianakis from R.I.P.D. due to scheduling conflicts, the search began to find a replacement began to find someone who would partner up with Ryan Reyonlds in the Robert Schwentke film. Deadline is now reporting that Universal Pictures is negotiating with Jeff Bridges for the role in the supernatural comedy about a police force made up of the undead from the comic book of the same name by Peter Lenkov as published by Dark Horse Comics. Reynolds has been keen on this project for awhile and it’s one he wants to fit into his schedule along with quite a few others, and solidifying up Bridges will bring this one closer to reality than certain other ones such as Deadpool.
