After all the initial excitement over possibly getting the Wolverine movie many of us have always wanted, and then getting a really marquee director in Darren Aronofsky, only to have him leave the production after a massive earthquake and tsunami hit Japan, fans are decidedly wary on where the feature will go. Or if it will even go at this point because so much uncertainty has been thrown on the project and the script itself simply because of how much filming was to take place in Japan. The folks at ComingSoon managed to grab a little time with Hugh Jackman at CinemaCon (formerly ShoWest) to ask him where things stand:
“We need to find another director and once we’ve found that, we’ll be able to know. It’s too early to call on Japan, I’m not sure where they’re at, so now we’re finding another director, but Fox is very anxious to make the movie and we’re moving ahead full steam to find another director.”
