Thomas McDonell Set For ‘Dark Shadows’

Tim Burton continues to work through the casting of his update to Dark Shadows with word that Thomas McDonell, who is starting in Prom shortly, will take on the role of the young Barnabas Collins who is played in his elder form by Johnny Depp. The feature for Warner Bros. is set to start shooting in May with Michelle Pfeiffer, Jackie Earle Haley and Eva Green starring alongside Helena Bonham Carter.

The feature is planned for a 2012 release.
