Paul W.S. Anderson is hard at work to make his October 14, 2011 release of The Three Musketeers but there’s more than enough in the can and ready to produce a pretty high energy trailer to get people interested in the project. The new feature, to be distributed by Summit in the US, goes back to the original novel and will be done in 3D for its release. There’s been little chatter or information about the movie to date outside of the people involved so this gives a good first look at the project.
Plot summary: The hot-headed young D’Artagnan (Logan Lerman) along with three formerly legendary but now down on their luck Musketeers must unite and prevent a beautiful double agent and her villainous employer from seizing the French throne and engulfing Europe in war.
