ComiXology Introduces Same-Day Comics Section

If you’re a long time comics fan like myself who does enjoy the transition to digital comics, one of the more frustrating parts every week is seeing a slew of books you already having and having to parse through it all to find out what’s actually new, clicking on individual titles and hoping it has a publication date listed in it (and that it’s accurate to when it was first printed, and not just added to the service). Thankfully, comiXology has added a new section to their “front page” section of their main app that now lists “Same Day as Print” and has added that tagline to a few books as well that are among their featured items. So now, you can see quickly and easily what’s brand new that your print-only friends may be picking up as well and getting the feeling of really perusing the “new digital comics” rack.

The week of 3/23 saw a handful of new titles that are brand new to print and digital (same day, or day and date as some outlets will call it). What’s new this week is:

2. Justice League: Generation Lost #22
3. Captain America And Batroc
4. Invincible #78
5. Archie & Friends #153
6. Orson Scott Card’s Speaker For The Dead #2
