The fun of instant communications and not being able to really remove anything from the Internet has caught up with Snow White and the Huntsman producer Palak Patel yesterday according to Latino Review. Patel had tweeted a couple of pieces which he confirmed with his fans only to delete them thereafter. Of course, with the re-tweets out there, it’s still available in various forms, but it all comes down to the fact that it wasn’t information that was ready to come out yet and not in the manner that either the studio or Stewart’s reps would like since they want to make it the right kind of splash.
“KStew is officially playing Snow White and her deal is in final negotiations and will close next week,” he wrote to a fan on Twitter.
“Official confirmation coming next week,” he tweeted in the same day. “But we are in final negotiations.”
The feature is scheduled for release on December 21st, 2012.
Plot Summary: Snow White (rumored to be played by Kristen Stewart), an 18-year-old princess whose only friends are animals, is getting more beautiful by the day as her step-mother, the Evil Queen Ravenna (rumored to be Charlize Theron) gets more and more jealous. When Ravenna tries to kill Snow White, but Snow White escapes with the help of a hunstman named Eric (rumored to be Viggo Mortensen) who is trying to get revenge on the Queen. Eric is very gruff but teaches Snow White how to fend for herself against the evil creatures of the forest. When she eats a poisonous apple, her childhood sweetheart Prince Charmant must kiss her in order to unfreeze her lips and give her the potion to heal her. She thinks she’s in love with Eric, but he assures her that Prince Charmant is her one true love.
