Julie Benz dropped by for a brief segment on Good Morning America today where she talked up the show a bit with Robin Roberts and George Stephanopoulos. During it, she talked about the work that visual effects crew does in regards to the variety of the villains they’ve had, from the bodymorphers to the abilities of herself and her family on the show. There was a bit of talk about upcoming guest stars for villains, such as Battlestar Galactica’s Tricia Helfer coming up, but also some dialogue about the truth behind the characters abilities. While she couldn’t be pinned down as to how the family got their powers, or even when it would be revealed, she did say that it is something that they know and that will be revealed. The show has settled into a range of just over 5 million viewers per episode and needs to expand on that during the upcoming sweeps weeks in order to get a second season order. It’s been an important show to ABC and they continue to promote it strongly. Hopefully, if the show does not find a second season, we get some of the answers in the final arc of this season which has Lucy Lawless appearing for several episodes worth.
