Tim Allen hasn’t been a part of a TV show since Home Improvement went off the air in 1999 outside of a few very minor voice roles. Now, according to Deadline Hollywood, he may be making a comeback. Allen has spent the majority of the last ten years working in film with some small roles that didn’t go too far but a lot of bigger roles that have earned him a lot of recognition, like Toy Story, Galaxy Quest and Wild Hogs. He’s now officially come on board an untitled ABC pilot which was previously known as both Man Up and The Last Day of Man, a multicamera comedy series that was seen as a vehicle for his particular style. If the pilot is picked up, it would be a significant and marketing worth moment for ABC to bring back someone who achieved quite a lot of success back in the 90’s through the sitcom format.
