The game trailer for Dead Island has certainly caught the eye of many, even those that aren’t all that thrilled with the continuing adoration of all things undead these days, and it’s little surprise that someone jumped on the movie rights already. Latino Review is reporting that Sean Daniel Co. has grabbed the rights to Techland’s game that will be out this fall on the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. The game looks to take the zombie genre in an at least interesting manner as the trailer is far more emotionally connected than most of these types of games seem and with it taking place on a resort island where we’re hearing that weapons will be scarce, the player is forced to other methods to defend themselves.
The trailer below is currently the must-watch trailer these days, especially for videogames. Would this make for a good movie or just more of the same with a slightly different hook?
