While rumors swirl about the Sex and the City franchise with a prequel movie being denied, Sarah Jessica Parker is certain there’s one more outing for her group of ladies in the future, just not in the near time. Talking with the Los Angeles Times, she confirms that there’s one more story to tell.
“I’d definitely tell that [third] story, and I know Michael would do it right. But maybe not now. Maybe in five years, you know?” she said.
While talking about the potential for a third story, she went into some detail about why it would have to wait though. After insisting that she didn’t want to get away from the property because it’s meant so much to her, she indicated her reasoning as being “if I’m not scared again that’s not good for me. That’s literally no good for me. If I’m not terrified and nauseous and worried the first two weeks of production, then what’s going to happen? You could wither on the vine. It’s like if you can’t use your leg. It just atrophies.”
