Crunchyroll Talks Exiting Shows & Arriving Dubs

Big changes are coming to Crunchyroll in just a few days as the Funimation titles that they’ve been streaming will begin departing or depart entirely depending on how it all plays out. With the partnership between the two ending on November 9th, that’s going to be creating a void within Crunchyroll as they’ve been streaming the bulk of the Funimation catalog in addition to their own for awhile now. Crunchyroll has revealed twenty popular titles that will be departing but also provided another list. That list showcases something that Crunchyroll will be able to expand in offering with dubs for shows that they produced through Funimation for their own licenses. That’s a lot of shows that will be available in some form at least for sampling as Crunchyroll continues to try and expand their reach. Nothing is fully finalized at this point and we’ll be updating as new things go live in the weeks to come.
