The fall 2018 anime series Himote House is getting its home video release in Japan handled by Sony and they’ve set a big release plan for it. The twelve episode series is getting released as three volumes where the DVDs are priced at 3,680 yen and the Blu-rays at 5,980 beginning January 23rd, 2019. It looks like they’re all two-disc sets with a bonus CD included.
Koutarou Ishidate is directing it and in charge of the series composition with booota handling the character designs. Check out an expanded look on those designs below!
The Japanese cast includes Aya Suzaki as Tae Hongou, Satomi Akesaka as Kokoro Himote, Suzuko Mimori as Kinami Himote, Kaori Mizuhashi as Tokiyo Himote, Sumire Uesaka as Minamo Arai, Asuka Nishi as Enishi, Karin Ogino as Nyarin, and Atsushi Tamaru.

Plot Concept: The series deals with five girls and one cat all living as housemates in Nakano, Tokyo: the three Himote sisters (Tokiyo, Kinami, and Kokoro) whose family manages the “Himote House,” Kokoro’s classmates Tae and Minamo, and the cat Enishi. The girls live their daily lives trying to figure out ways to be popular, and they (and the cat) all possess a mysterious secret power…
