German distributor KSM Anime is handling the home video release of the Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex: The Laughing Man property and they’ve got the first trailer out for it. This gives us a taste of the German language cast for it. The film received a German 5.1 language along with the Japanese 5.1 language, both of which are done up using DTS-HD MA lossless for the Blu-ray. Extras include the making of segment, some bonus clips, a gallery, and trailers.

Plot Concept: The year is 2030 and six years have passed since a criminal known only as The Laughing Man swept through top medical nanotechnology firms committing acts of cyber-terrorism, kidnapping, extortion, and corporate espionage leaving no known suspects. New information is revealed to Japan’s top homeland security force, drawing Major Kusanagi and Section 9 into the hunt for a suspect capable of hacking the eyes of every operative, obscuring all details of his appearance and leaving behind a trail of copycats and hacked cyborg citizens.
