The spring 2018 anime series High School DxD Hero is getting its home video releases handled by Media Factory and they’ve set a good schedule for it. The fourth and final set is coming out on October 24th, 2018 and ahead of that we now have the full packaging spread for it! The thirteen episode series is getting a four-volume release that began on July 3rd, 2018. The DVDs are priced at 8,000 yen each while the Blu-ray’s are 9,000 yen each. Adapting the ninth and tenth volumes of the light novel series, it was directed by Yoshifumi Sueda based on the series composition by Kenji Konuda. Makoto Uno served as the character designer with studio Passione handling the animation production.
The previous seasons were directed by Tatsuya Yanagisawa based on the series composition by Takao Yoshioka and character designs by Junji Goto with animation from TNK.
The light novel series began in 2008 and has twenty-two volumes to its name so far. A manga adaptation kicked off in 2010 with the main run of it having nine volumes, but there are a few spinoffs as well. Yen Press has picked up the main manga as well as the first spinoff from 2012. A 3DS visual novel game was released at the end of 2013 in Japan as well.
