Upcoming ‘Titans’ TV Series Gets Second Season Renewal As New Trailer Arrives

2 min read

With the DC Universe streaming service getting underway this fall and launching with the Titans TV series debuting on October 12th, 2018, one thing that can help in cementing its presence is a sense of confidence about it. DC definitely is working that game as ahead of the first season they’ve confirmed that a second season is coming according to EP Geoff Johns at NYCC.

“I think that shows the faith that DC Universe has in the show and in this amazing cast here and the property,” executive producer Geoff Johns said. “DC is so supportive of it. We know Season 2 already. We know everything. We actually know all the characters for Season 2. We know the story of Season 2. Marv Wolfman will be very happy with Season 2.”

The announced cast includes Brenton Thwaites as Dick Grayson, Teagan Croft as Raven, Anna Diop as Starfire, Alan Ritchson as Hawk, Minka Kelly Dove, and Ryan Potter as Beast Boy.

The series will be done by Greg Berlanti, Akiva Goldsman, Geoff Johns, Sarah Schechter and Warner Bros TV, which means there’s a very good chance it’ll connect with The CW shows to some degree as Berlanti’s projects have worked to keep that a part of things.

Plot Concept: Titans follows a group of young soon-to-be superheroes recruited from every corner of the DC Universe. In the action-adventure series, Dick Grayson emerges from the shadows to become the leader of a fearless band of new heroes that includes Starfire, Raven and others.
