The quieter Thursday mix is once again in play with a couple of new books and lots of backlist. Alternate Comics gets the second issue of Metaphase out the door while DC Comics engages with new Scooby-Doo Team-Up, this time with the gang teaming up with DC’s greatest ape heroes: Congorilla, Sam Simeon, and Detective Chimp!
On the backlist side we get some great Hawkman and Hawkworld books as well as The Flash from its silver age run and Justice League of America as well. DC also slides out the Wildstorm Revelations series from 2008.
On the Marvel side, it’s trades once again with some good Captain America material, some fun with Hercules and X-Campus, and the first Golden Age Mystic Comics Masterworks.
