We learned back in January that the Grimms Notes game Square Enix will be getting an anime adaptation. The series doesn’t have a season yet but the arrival of the first promotional video has revealed that Seiki Sugawara is directing it based on the series composition by Hiroshi Yamaguchi. Kentaro Matsumoto is handling the character designs with Brain’s Base working on the animation production.
While we don’t have any production information we did get four cast confirmations with:
- Ryota Ohsaka as Ekusu
- Reina Ueda as Reina
- Miyu Kubota as Shane
- Takuya Eguchi as Tao

Plot Concept: The game revolves around the adventure of players with a given book that tells their fate in the world created by “Storytellers” and these people must fight against “Chaos Tellers” who overwrite their books with bad events.
