The next Code Geass feature film is in the works for a February 2019 bow for Code Geass: Fukkatsu no Lelouch sequel according to a new video that was released today through Bandai. The project brings back a lot of familiar names with Goro Taniguchi directing based on the screenplay by Ichiro Okouchi. Working from CLAMP’s original character designs, Takahiro Kimura will be handling that area while Sunrise is on the animation production. The project comes after wrapping up the recap film trilogy this past May and we should have most of the (surviving) cast return for this edition of it.
The original TV series premiere in 2006 with a sequel run in 2008. A spinoff OVA series began in 2012 that ran for several years with Akito the Exiled.
