Marvel Comics has been doing well with their Star Wars comics as they’ve played across the three trilogies to varying degrees so far and tying into the novels as well as the films. They’re now looking to expand into something bigger that will make for great trades down the line with an “Age Of” series. Planned for twenty-four issues with each trilogy getting eight issues presumably as it’s being broken into three sections, we’ll be getting:
- Star Wars: Age of Republic
- Star Wars: Age of Rebellion
- Star Wars: Age of Resistance
Artists are being revealed later but Jody Houser, Greg Pak, and Tom Taylor will be working on each series respectively. Each issue is being done as two stories within where one focuses on a hero and one on a villain.
