What They Say:
Chi is a sweet playful kitten, always full of energy. She gets milk from Yohei, and is relaxing at home, nice and full. As she searches around the house for something exciting, she comes across Yohei walking with a handful of rubber balls. The balls bounce everywhere as he drops them, and Yohei and Chi can’t get more excited. The day ends with Chi and the family making a great memory together.

Content: (please note that content portions of a review may contain spoilers)
Chi’s adventures with Come-Come have been fun so far and I’m glad we do get some brief time with the family at the start here before Chi heads off. While I think we’ve had more Come-Come adventures in a row than we probably should have, this one is fun as the pair get outside of the park for a bit after Chi’s little adventure at home. With a bit of a struggle to get it underway since they’re fairly competitive, it’s amusing to watch because they built up a thing where everything feels scary and they scare themselves more than anything else. They do have fun in their own way but it’s just silliness in general as they go through the exploration. Things do get truly dangerous for them when they come across a dog that pulls away from its owner and seeing them react, and the world from their point of view, gives it a good sense of danger and creativity. Naturally, threats in the world of Chi aren’t as bad as the real world so you don’t have to worry much but it’s nicely handled.
In Summary:
I was definitely glad to see the pair get out from their usual haunts to explore new things and deal with new dangers but I’m also ready to move on from Come-Come for a bit. I like the guy as we’ve gotten to know him and the impact they both have on each other. But we’ve had four or five episodes in a row of them together and I’m feeling the need for some of the other characters, human and animal, as well as some other locations for a bit.
