‘One-Punch Man’ Digital Manga Sale Begins

2 min read

Viz Media is definitely making manga a lot more affordable for fans on the digital front this summer with a number of themed sales through ComiXology, which is also available to read on the Amazon Kindle devices. The latest sale has arrived with a One-Punch Man theme! The publisher has brought out the first thirteen volumes of the series that they’ve released domestically and are now running a short-term sale where they’re just $5 a pop. Which means you can get a lot of manga cheap without having to deal with finding more space on your shelf.

The sale runs through July 16th, 2018.

The book began its serialization in Young Jump Web Comics in 2009 and has eleven volumes published in Japan to date. The series is written by One with artwork by Yusuke Murata.

Plot concept: Nothing about Saitama passes the eyeball test when it comes to superheroes, from his lifeless expression to his bald head to his unimpressive physique. However, this average-looking guy has a not-so-average problem-he just can’t seem to find an opponent strong enough to take on! Every time a promising villain appears, he beats the snot out of ’em with one punch! Can Saitama finally find an opponent who can go toe-to-toe with him and give his life some meaning? Or is he doomed to a life of superpowered boredom?
