Yen Press Reveals Multiple License Acquisitions

The folks at Yen Press had their panel at Anime Expo yesterday (at the same exact time as Seven Seas panel, again showing poor schedule planning on the conventions part) and they revealed a dozen new works that they’ll be getting on soon. A number of them are familiar with novels related to film properties and it makes a lot of sense to get that out there as the films make more inroads through limited showings and other events. The slate of pickups includes:

1. Kei Sanbe’s Yume de Mita: Anoko no Tame ni manga
2. Ruzuru Akashiba and Eto Mori’s DIVE!! manga
3. Author Memarei and artist Chabane Uchida’s Monster Wrestling manga
4. Tomihiko Morimi’s penguin highway and The Night is Young, Walk on Girl girl novels
5. Mamoru Hosoda’s Mirai novel
6. Asato Asato’s 86 novels
7. Okada Atsushi’s Nyankees manga
8. Suu Minazuki’s Plunderer manga
9. Author Homura Kawamoto and artist Katsura Saiki’s Kakegurui Twins manga
10. Tomiyaki Kagisora’s Happy Sugar Life manga
11. Kafka Asagiri and Sango Harukawa’s Bungo Stray Dogs novels
12. Author Wanwan Majin and artist Kochimo’s Woof Woof Story novels
