‘Strike Witches 501st Unit, Taking Off!’ Manga Getting Anime Adaptation

One more project is lined up for the Strike Witches franchise with plans for the Strike Witches 501st Unit, Taking Off! manga to get an anime adaptation in 2019. The project comes from Makoto Fujibayashi’s manga that ran in 2012 as a four-panel series with a couple of volumes to its name and some additional incarnations later on. No staffing or production information was revealed.

The Japanese cast includes:

  • Kaori Nazuka as Lynette Bishop
  • Miyuki Sawashiro as Perrine-H. Clostermann

Plot Concept: The series follows the silly everyday lives of the members of the 501st unit, as they cook and clean and do other everyday tasks when there’s a lull in the Neuroi attacks.
