Dark Horse Comics Acquires ‘Elfen Lied’ Manga

Dark Horse Comics has revealed at Anime Expo that they’ve got a new license acquisition that will make its debut in 2019 with the manga for Lynn Okamoto’s Elfen Lied. The series ran from 2002 to 2005 and inspired a popular violent anime adaptation that ADV Films licensed and released. The manga completed with twelve volumes in Young Jump magazine and Dark Horse will be doing them as four volumes of 3-in-1 editions beginning next year.

The manga has seen pickups overseas with German, Italian, Portuguese, and Taiwanese releases.
