King Records has announced what the Japanese release plans are for the second season of Hozuki no Reitetsu with the back half of it now scheduled as the spring 2018 portion gets underway. With it a couple of weeks until the first set for it gets here, which we’re listing as the third set of the second season as a whole, we’ve now got a look at the cover for it. The show is getting two box set releases that bring out the series in full in quick fashion in the same way as the first half. The show will have both the DVD and Blu-ray sets priced at 18,000 yen each when they land on July 18th, 2018 and September 19th, 2018.
The show is based on the manga of the same name by Natsumi Eguchi which has been running since 2011 in Morning 2 that has resulted in twenty-four volumes seeing compilation so far.
Crunchyroll simulcast the first season and Sentai Filmworks released it on home video.
Plot concept: Hozuki is the aide to the Great King Enma. Calm and super-sadistic, Hozuki tries to resolve the various problems in Hell, including a rampaging Momotaro and his companions. However, he also likes spending his free time on his hobbies, such as fawning over cute animals and raising ‘Goldfish Flowers.’
