The spring 2018 anime series Tada Doesn’t Fall in Love is getting its home video release handled by X and they’ve put together a pretty standard plan for it. As we’re now just ten whole days away from the release we’ve got a look at the packaging for the first set and how it’s all being put together for this run. The twelve episode series is getting a four-volume release that begins on June 27th, 2018. The DVDs are priced at 8,000 yen each while the Blu-ray’s are at 9,000 yen. The show was directed by Mitsue Yamazaki based on the series composition by Yoshuko Nakamura. Junichirou Taniguchi served as the character designer and chief animation director with Doga Kobo handling the animation production.
The Japanese cast includes Yuuichi Nakamura as Mitsuyoshi Tada, Manaka Iwami as Terasa Wagner, Mamoru Miyano as Kaoru Ijuuin, Shino Shimoji as Alexandra Magritte, Yuuichirou Umehara as Hajime Sugimoto, Shizuka Ishigami as Hinako Hasegawa, Hiro Shimono as Kentarou Yamashita, and Inori Minase as Yui Tada.
Plot Concept: Mitsuyoshi Tada, a boy who has never known love, is taking pictures of the cherry blossoms in full bloom when he meets Teresa Wagner, a transfer student from Luxembourg. Upon arriving in Japan, she got lost and separated from her travel companion. Mitsuyoshi helps her and brings her to his grandfather’s coffee shop.
