After getting us through New Year’s with a quieter episode focused on just a few characters, Valentine’s is here and that means more chaos. This brings us to Yamiry and Kisaki as there’s plenty of competitive elements between them with their businesses. Kisaki is more aggressive in going after Yamiry and that leads to a competition between the two for the best chocolate with Big Brother judging. It’s amusing in seeing how Yamiry works to win over Big Brother with some creative dirty material while also making an impassioned play to be a friend to all of them as she really loves them. It’s such an about face that you really don’t want to believe it and if there weren’t ulterior motives.
In Summary:
Yamiry and Kisaki aren’t favorites of mine in the series but this one’s at least not as much of a series of wild takes and overacting that it just turned me away. There are cute bits with what unfolds with the competition but also just seeing the nature of these characters going head to help. Yamiry isn’t to be trusted (though, honestly, almost all series end up wanting you to like the characters as they all have hidden hearts of gold in this type) but things are put into motion to change up how everything operates here. I’d rather get back to other characters for a bit though as these two just don’t do much for me.
