Warm weather means it’s time for a trip to the beach! While the gang enjoys playing in the ocean, Airi is hesitant to join them.

How do you follow up a hot spring episode? You shift gears in a whole other direction with the beach! Yeah, it’s not exactly the best kind of back to back episode plan but Alice or Alice goes there as a way to show off the girls more. Everyone’s there in their bathing suits with the usual designs you get, including school swimsuits in at least one case. The personalities are out in full force and it’s fun to watch them play various games and have fun, though Airi and Rise hang with Big Bro more than anything else. Naturally, we also get the problem of Airi not knowing how to swim and some of the problems that comes from that, but it just means Big Bro is going to teach her – which has them animated in “normal” form to show off her beauty and how she’s taken with him. Familiar story is familiar.
In Summary:
Anyone watching this show knows what to expect at this point and that’s not a bad thing. The main cast is set, the interactions straightforward and predictable, the cute style nicely done, and the more fanservice oriented side as well. It’s the perfect kind of simple empty calorie short-form show that will make you smile a bit as you watch it but will be most forgettable after that. I liked seeing the characters have fun here and it avoids going too far with the fanservice while also playing up some of the sibling aspects in an expected but not wholly creepy way.
