Funimation is getting their dub of the spring 2018 anime series Steins;Gate 0 underway with new episodes arriving on Monday’s. With that in mind, the studio knows just how much interest there is in this show in both languages and they’ve put together a pretty great 18-minute behind the scenes piece focusing on what Monica Rial does to bring the character of Maho Hiyajo in one of the more complicated scenes as it focuses on her acting as a English-to-Japanese translator for the American Alexis Leskinen. Bringing in a native speaker to help, Funimation notes that for the English dub they “did it backwards where we had Maho speak Japanese to showcase how she is translating. ”
The dub is being directed by Cris George and the main cast as announced for the first episode includes:

Kenichi Kawamura directed it and Tomoshige Inayoshi worked on the character designs. White Fox produced the animation for it.
The Japanese cast includes Mamoru Miyano as Rintarō Okabe, Kana Hanazawa as Mayuri Shiina, Tomokazu Seki as Itaru “Daru” Hashida, Asami Imai as Kurisu Makise, Saori Goto as Moeka Kiryū, Yu Kobayashi as Luka Urushibara, Halko Momoi as Faris Nyan-nyan, Yukari Tamura as Suzuha Amane, Sayuri Yahagi as Maho Hiyajō, Megumi Han as Kagari Shiina, Yukari Tamura as Yuki Amane, Mariko Honda as Katsumi Nakase, Hina Kino as Kaede Kurushima, Youji Ueda as Alexis Leskinen, and Maya Nishimura as Judy Reyes.
