The spring 2018 anime series Amanchu! Advance has its home video release information set up ahead of the debut, which is set for April 7th, 2018. The official site has now updated with the third promotional video for the series that gives us a sample of the ending theme song “Hello, Hello” from Maaya Sakamoto. The series has set Junichi Sato as the chief director with Kenichi Kasai doing the main directing working off of series composition by Deko Akao. Character designs are being handled by Youko Itou with animation produced at JC Staff.

The cast includes Eri Suzuki as Hikari Kohinata, Ai Kayano as Futaba Ooki, Saori Oonishi as Ai Ninomiya, Yuuichirou Umehara as Makoto Ninomiya, Shizuka Itou as Mato Katori, Yurika Kubo as Aria and Kikuko Inoue as Kino Kohinata.

Plot concept: Hikari Kohinata is a cheerful 15-year-old girl who lives near the ocean and she spends much of her time diving as a result. On her first day of high school, she meets a teacher who also likes scuba diving. There’s also a 16-year-old classmate, Futaba, who gets dragged along in Hikari’s maelstrom as soon as they meet at school. Most of the manga so far details the relationship between the two girls, which quickly seems to move into romantic two girl friendship-territory.
