What They Say:
The cute and mysterious cat-like creatures called Mitchiri Neko that seem to gather around each other if you leave them alone now get their own anime with a glorious voice cast! The free and happy-go-lucky Mitchiri Neko’s daily life is filled fluff and surreal laughs! Say it with me, “Mitchiri! Mitchiri!”

The Review:
Content: (please note that content portions of a review may contain spoilers)
The hit or miss nature of this show continues to be frustrating, though I think it’s had more material that’s landed as of late than at the start of its run, though that’s not saying much. With this episode, we get a new round of antics that involves a little magic at first that again showcases the amateur level nature of these cats. The weirdness is also something that they stick to, such as the one cat that’s got the elevator boots they’re wearing but isn’t noticed as others are doing their own weird things wondering if anyone’s noticed. The main issue that things never feel like the gag is well explored, such as the lassoing event that they get into in this episode. It’s more fun to just watching them dressed up as cowboys and doing things in a normal city setting than anything else.

In Summary:
The show finishes things out with a couple of cute sports related events but they’re not things that are able to really be capitalized on as they’re barely functional as one-panel gags. The cute bits do work in here but they’re things that I just keep feeling like they’d work better with a different approach than we get, which makes this a frustrating series to watch.
