The Pokemon train continues on and while the I Choose You! film has now arrived on home video in many places, Japan is focusing on the next film that’s due out this summer. This new work is the 21st film in the franchise and has a July 13th, 2018 debut where it’ll be called Pokemon the Movie: Everyone’s Story. That’s come with the reveal of the first key visual and theatrical poster for it and a promotional video as well.

The film has Eiji Umehara and Aya Takaha writing the screenplay with Tetsuo Yajima directing it. Shizue Kaneko is handling the character designs with Wit Studio handling the animation production with OLM.

The Japanese cast includes Rica Matsumoto as Satoshi, Ikue Ōtani as Satoshi’s Pikachu, Megumi Hayashibara as Musashi, Shinichiro Miki as Kojiro, Inuko Inuyama as Nyarth, and Unshō Ishizuka as the Narrator. New characters casting will be revealed later.
