With Seven Seas having picked up the rights to the Saint Seiya: Saintia Shō manga last year and the first volume out earlier this month, the attention is on the anime adaptation that was announced awhile back. There’s still nothing in the way of details regarding the production and what to expect from it but the team behind it has slid out a new key visual to take in that definitely plays to what fans really enjoy about the property in a big and bold way that you can see below.

The series from Chimaki Kuori kicked off in the summer of 2013 in Champion Red magazine and has nine collected volumes in Japan so far.

Plot concept: In the wake of a space-wide civil war instigated by Saga–the Gemini Gold Saint–a new team of Saints comes together with the goal of protecting their goddess Athena. This first all-woman team of armored warriors, powered by the Zodiac, will use their cunning, strength, and compassion to defend their worlds and oppose their very destinies.
