The latest rankings of what’s selling in Japan has come in with the manga and light novel markets and it’s a bit of a quieter week. The manga side has the latest Chihayafuru arriving to some solid numbers of 165,000 units moved. Otoyomegatari has a great slot in third with its tenth volume while Seven Deadly Sins gets its thirtieth volume off to a good start in second place. After that, everything is under 90,000 or so and a lot of it are just additional sales of most titles that have been out for a week or two.
On the light novel side, the latest Sword Art Online: Progressive volume pulled some great numbers as it doubled its sales with another 66,000 units. The 13th volume of Is It Wrong to Try to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon? did just over 70,000 between the two editions that it put out and we’re seeing the push on Ryuuou no Oshigoto continuing with all volumes in the top twenty or just beyond.
