Viz Media has the third season of Sailor Moon Crystal coming up this holiday season and they’re looking to get a bit more promotion out there for it. The latest comes in the form of the first English trailer for it, though it’s one that’s strangely cropped/resized so that it just feels plain weird. The set is scheduled for a December 5th, 2017 release priced at $79.99 for the limited edition release that comes with a chipboard box, booklet, art cards, and more to be determined.
Directed by Munehisa Sakai at Toei Animation with Yuji Kobayashi doing the scripts, Yuki Sako joined served as the character designer, whose recent works include Majestic Prince. Yasuharu Takanashi is serving as the composer, having worked on some big franchise including Fairy Tail and Precure. Art direction was done by Takashi Kurahashi and Yumi Hosaka, both of which worked on Gatchaman Crowds and Mononoke. The soundtrack was produced by King Records with Momoiro Clover Z performing the theme song.
The English cast includes Stephanie Sheh as Usagi Tsukino, Kate Higgins as Ami Mizuno, Cristina Vee as Rei Hino, Amanda miller as Makoto Kino, Cherami Leigh as Minako Aino, Robbie Daymond as Mamoru Chiba, Michelle Ruff as Luna and Johnny Yong Bosch as Artemis.
