Add a new anime film on the Crunchyroll service thanks to the partnership with Funimation as A Certain Magical Index: The Miracle of Endymion is now streaming there. The film is available in its original Japanese language with English subtitles while the dubbed version remains at Funimation’s site. Availability for this is limited as theatrical and streaming rights were parceled off to other distributors previously with it open to viewers in the US and Canada only.
The feature got a DVD/BD combo pack release back in 2015 priced at $34.95 and has both of its language tracks in stereo using the Dolby TrueHD lossless codec. The feature clocks in at 90 minutes with eight minuets of extras for a Region A release. The extras included a feature length commentary track while the timed extras include the teaser and TV spots as well as the theatrical trailer and promotional videos and ‘Telepath” theatrical trailer.
Plot concept: Welcome to Academy City, a futuristic metropolis populated with super-powered students.
