1 min read

Minami-keThe winter 2013 anime series Minami-ke was picked up by Funimation for streaming back then but never got a home video release, unfortunately. King Records recently set up for a new Japanese box set and has now dropped the latest TV spot to remind people about it ahead of its planned November 1st, 2017 debut. It’s priced at 19,000 yen and will have its extras detail later. It’ll have the full thirteen episode run plus two CDs included for the six disc set.

The series is based on the manga of the same name by Koharu Sakuraba that began in 2004 and has sixteen volumes going to date. The original anime series debuted in 2007 under studio Daume while the two follow up seasons, in 2008 and 2009, were done by studio Asread. This series from 2013 is done by studio Feel. A pair of OVAs were done as well, one by Asread and another by Studio Feel.

Plot Concept: Join the Minami sisters for a hysterical new season of everyday adventures in sibling cohabitation, classroom hijinks, and young love!
