The latest manga rankings have arrived out of Japan for the week ending September 17th, 2017 and that means a lot of fun new books landing. This is a lighter week overall as the top ranked title, Cardcaptor Sakura: Clear Card, clocks in at just 123,000 copies. And other than Ace of the Diamon II hitting just a hair over 100,000, the rest are all under that. But that also means we see some lesser known titles ranking int he top ten like Kurosaki-kun and P to JK which is always fun to see.
The light novel side is fairly quiet as well with the latest Sword Art Online being the big one here by adding another 55,000 units to bring it to 143, 000 in the first two weeks. Goblin Slayer drops its second volume with 16,000 units while everything is is at just about 7,000 or under. There are a few first volumes in the mix but this is a week that shows that the big sales push for Classroom of the Elite has ended as none of them rank in the top twenty-five.
