‘Urahara’ Anime Drops New Promo & Premiere Date

UraharaWe learned previously about the original anime series Urahara that’s a collaboration between Crunchyroll and bilibili. As we’re getting closer to the fall season the show has now brought out a new promotional video for the series that reveals an October 4th, 2017 debut for it.  The series is being directed by Amika Kubo with Masatsugu Arakawa serving as the chief director. Natsuko Takahashi is handling the series composition while Mariko Fujita is working on character designs. Shirogumi and EMT2 are handling the animation production.

The Japanese cast includes Sumire Uesaka as Mari Shirako, Manaka Iwami as Kotoko Watatsumugi, Luna Haruna as Rito Sudou, Kokoa Amano as Misa Maruno, Yasunori Matsumoto as Ebifurya, and Riho Iida as Sayumin.

Sumire Uesaka is performing the opening theme song “Antithese Escape” while Luna Haruna is performing the ending theme song.

Plot Concept: Several years from now, the great cities of the world will be destroyed by creatures from another planet. Their next target is…Tokyo’s famed Harajuku district! Only a trio of treasure-seeking shop girls can hope to save the day. But first, do they have what it takes to become members of the PARK Harajuku: Crisis Team?
