The latest installment of the English-language edition of Weekly Shonen Jump arrived yesterday and within it came the page revealing that the new Rurouni Kenshin: Hokkaido Arc series will begin next week, running simultaneously for that chapter at least with the Japanese edition.
The new series from Watsuki is being planned for five arcs from its original announcement and Weekly Shonen Jump has confirmed that they’ll be publishing it in the English edition in its entirety and not done up as a Jump Start three-chapter test.
Our hope continues to be that this will get the rest of the previous manga series finally adapted and lead into an anime adaptation of this as well.
